The new Murkani Hagar Lost & Found collection was developed with the intention of helping Afghani women in need. Women will either receive assistance in starting their own small business, be invited to join a family-owned cooperative, or be offered the chance to find employment.

This collection was inspired by the amazing and enigmatic tale of the discovery of the Tillya Tepe treasure hoard which was found in Northern Afghanistan and features over 20,000 pieces found across 6 tombs. The key themes of this collection include those of Courage, Love and Renewal, with each design being inspired by ancient pieces from the Tillya Tepe Collection.

$10 from each necklace sold in this collection will be donated to the Afghanistan Livelihoods Project.

COURAGE  - The Courage pendant necklace with its Lion symbol honours the bravery the Afghani women and children have shown in the face of hardship. Inspired by Central Asian and Roman-era coins from the Tillya Tepe treasure.
